Hello, my friends! This is the start of a fantastic journey that I never would have thought possible, and I can't wait to share it with you. I love paper crafting! Scrapbooks, cards, party favors, you name it. Sharing my creations with friends and family has always been a treat but my introverted personality and lack of confidence have prevented me from really sharing the love of that creation with others. Until now that is. All it took was a phone call from Mom with a simple phrase of "Let's open a scrapbooking and quilting store together" and my imagination went wild. After a few months of follow-up phone conversations and one plane ride to visit her, we are moving forward with making that simple phrase a reality.
Mom and I will be opening "Paper & Cloth Memories" a retail store in Perryton, Texas that will offer the best and newest of products for scrapbooking and quilting enthusiasts. We want to create an inspirational environment filled with discovery, community, and learning as we share our love of crafting with others. This blog will be our written history of the journey we take in making this store a reality. We will share what works, what doesn't work, what has to change, etc, etc and hope that these ideas will help you with your dreams.
My goal is to write once a week on this blog as a way to keep myself on task. I will include what's happening along with an inspirational quote that helped me. And as time allows, I will include a project I am working on in hopes that it will inspire you to start or continue your creative journey.
